Texas State Fair and other fun!!

Last weekend we had a fun visit from Papa Rex and Nonnie. We all went to the Texas State fair which is really fun. It is the biggest fair that I have ever been to. She loved the petting zoo, playing some of the carnival games, and she even asked to ride some of the kiddie roller coasters. She rode a little safari train with Benji and Nonnie and then she rode another roller caoster with Papa Rex, which was hilarious. She specifically chose this one roller coaster which looked okay but we failed to realize that the ride went VERY fast and took many twist and turns. Caroline didn't cry but her face was hilarious! I think she liked it but it just wasn't what she was expecting. Later that night we went to a Fall festival at Benji's school. We go every year and we were sad that this was our last time to get to go. Caorline enjoyed the bounce house, painting pumpkins, and playing games for candy. We also carved our first pumpkin. She didn't much care for pulling the seeds out but she designed the face all by herself. After it was over she named the pumpkin Sassy(which is the name of Papa and Nonnie's cat). We asked her the next day if she wanted to put the pumpkin outside and she said, "No, it will run away." Too funny! We had such a fun weekend. Thank you Papa and Nonnie for coming to visit!!!
