Caroline turns 5!

 On April 8, my baby turned 5!  I can't believe that five years have passed since we brought her home as a tiny little six pound baby. She is such a joy and I could not imagine our family with out her.  I laugh when I think about how she was a surprise for us.  Benji and I had just moved to Dallas and after being there for 2 months, I found out I was pregnant.  Honestly, I cried.  Benji and I had dreamed up all these things we were going to do and places we were going to travel and then our plans changed all of the sudden.  Looking back, I realize that crying was silly.  All the plans and all the dreams could never have been as amazing as having this sweet girl in our life.
For her birthday, Caroline wanted to have a Princess party....specifically a Sleeping Beauty Party.  She had 17 of her friends over.  They ate pizza and cake, opened presents, and played lots of fun games.  It has been so sweet to see the little friends God has brought into Caroline's life.  I think she felt loved and had a blast!
